Just curious if anyone has a Fatboy with 12" apes? I have an opportunity to purchase a set of 12" chubby apes for $80.00, they are in great shape, I cant tell if they have even been mounted or not. I think they would bring my hands up to shoulder level..Ive been saying for a while now that I would like 14" but now that these have come available I may just take them.
On the cosmetic side of things, Im curious as to how they would look.
So Im asking if anyone has 12" on their fatty if they could post a pic.
I'm in the same boat, can't decide on 12" or 14" on my fatboy lo. I had 12s on my Heritage and they were fine if they were rolled forward a bit. But I want to keep these in line with the fatboy, I think it looks better so I may go with the 14s.
I sat on a lo demo bike with these bars and they were even with my shoulders. I'm 6ft. I was not thinking about being a lo and thought it would be the same on my bike. Not With the seat I have and not being a lo, the bars are too low for me. Funny, they were perfect for me on a lo, I thought he bike only say 1/2 inch lower, but I guess not. See if your stealership has demo bikes set up with to swap out the bars, mine does.
