Default Dash is peeling

Mine is the 100th anniversary and the clear coat on dash insert is peeling off the dash. I actually like the dash when not peeling but how can I remove the yellowing clear without damaging the words and surface below or, is it something I'm gonna have to live with. If I have to live with it then I'm in the market for hole chrome dash panel and aftermarket insert.

Might want to post this in the paint and powdercoating section. You would probably get an answer quicker over there.

that is a decal, you should be able to just replace that decal from HD

It doesn't look like a decal, the insert is kind of a decal but the clear is yellowing and cracking. I know that some cleaning agents can do that, any idea of what can be used to strip it???

that is the doming that is peeling up and cracking, we use the same type of materials in wheel center caps. Contact HD you may have to show your bikes vin to get it as i know they are pretty picky about aniv bike parts and badging

If that emblem is anything like the ignition label around my ignition switch, it is an aluminum decal. Try to get one from HD as Joe suggested and use a heat gun to peel off the old one.

Thanks guys I will but when I bought the bike Harley acted like it was normal and nothing could be done. Having the 100th anniversary duce and emblem will make it hard to replace. I want that part stock (though I don't know why?) I've found the insert with "Ignition -off-ACC" in leather but will need the chrome housing but I'll try what you all said, Thanks for replies. If anyone know anyone with a Duece dash please send them my way.
