Mimo, where did you get the heel rest pegs? Will they work with any Softail rear peg setup? I've been thinking about rear boards or this setup. Are the rear pegs now fixed?
Well , I looked at the Street glide and I am going to go and take the misses to have a look and maybe a demo ride Sunday. See if I can work the deal. But with the way the dealers are here, I would notbet a large sum of money on making that deal.
If you make a trade for a Street Glide, DON'T drive away without getting a detatchable backrest! Changing out the seat is a good idea too, if you are going to ride 2-up. We rented one last October for 4 days at teh Hawaii state HOG rally. After 6 hours of riding one day, my wife was in tears, and we had to pull over. Other than that it was a FANTASTIC ride. LOVED the bike.

Hi Marty,
Got 'em at the HD stealer, not too pricey and I think they don't look bad. On top of that is a very functional solution. I fixed 'em torqueing. No complaints you canmake 'em rigid if you want to, but I leaved some slack for folding.
Yes, they will work for any Softail, no problem at all.
If you tried 3 different seats and they all tend to push her forward then maybe you need to look at the sissy bar and/or pad. My GF complains about moving forward on my Heritage but she blames it on the angle of the stock sissy bar being to straight up and down.
