Tony, why are you posting your bike? He is asking about using Carlini bars that are not knurled with the Breakout risers.

wrong reply in the wrong box. I tried twice, failed both times so I gave up. I guess if I knew it would be a problem I would have invested another 30 seconds to remove it.....but didn't. It's a freebie, enjoy it or ignore it. Now I am off to track down the right thread on bars and try again or just go to bed

Thanks! The bushings are HD poly bushings are solid. I dont have any play on the bars. One trade off is that you definitely feel more vibrations but thats a given considering how soft the stockers are.

I'm using stock risers from a 2004 Dyna. If I remember right, it's 1.5"

No, I meant the diameter. Your bars step down to go through the clamp right? Those bars come knurled from Carlini. The 1.25" do not step down through the riser, and are not knurled.
