black and chrome...balance???

About the only thing I'd change on that would be a gloss black headlight and maybe change out the air cleaner. Those oval ones remind me of the oem Sportster ones back in the 80's. Other than that, you got that thing smokin and a head turner for sure.

Thanks mate! Actually I chose especially this air cleaner because it has a low profile and does not interfere with my knee. I'm appr. 6' 3'' with rather long legs. That's why I don't like the a/c stickin' out to the right by 2+ in. I could have mounted the Heavy Breather too but ... didn't 'cause that's probably the one mostly used and I simply don't like that snorkel look .

The same for the headlight. I mounted a chromed one on purpose over leaving the stock black one...upper front part (handlebars & controls) all black, so is the lower part (lower fork, wheels), in between all nice and shiny

I understand about the heavy breathers sticking out too far. I really like the wheels the way they are, either way you can't go wrong.

Mine is probably more of a mix than actually blacked-out. I have since added new pegs and mirrors to the original picture (top).

Here's mine..... Just got it. My first Harley. 2014 Chrome forks, controls, cables, calipers, swing arm, sprocket, etc :-)

I think the best balance between chrome and black and is NO CHROME!!!

Oh, wait...there is already a thread for that.

Nice lookin bikes, disregard my ranting.

Got the pipes and the bags on, relocated the coil and ordered a black coil cover. Next will be the derby cover on the air cleaner....
