Default routing new braided lines...

I am going to be changing my stock lines over to some braided ones.

When any of you guys have done it, how did you fix the front brake line to the rear panels of the forks. Also did you braide all the way to the caliper? Are there any other options out there to look at. Or anything to watch out for fitting wise.

Help me out please guys..

Rob

Nice one Hogtie, Love what you've done to your ride.

What make of lines did you use? Did you notice any difference in the braking or clutch action once you changed?

Ride safe

I used the Sterling Chromite II cables/lines from Magnum Shielding. A side-by-side comparison showed them to be a little bit brighter than the Harley Diamondback cables, and they are a bit cheaper in price too. I have not noticed any difference in braking or clutching. For fitment, I used my wifes fabric tape measure (sssshhhhhh) and routed it through the bike the same way I wanted the lines to go through, took the measurements to the dealer and ordered everything up. Everything was off-the-shelf except the brake line. They were abe to custom order that from Magnum with the fittings I wanted on each end.

To run the brake line down the fork, I used this: http://www.dragspecialties.com/fatbook/4/83/3910200

Hope that helps.
