if you don't ride much, a battery tender would be a good idea.
I'd change at least the engine and tranny fluid. Use synth for the tranny, and if you change it often enough ~2500 miles.. you can use non-synth in the engine.
I'M in almost same way, I have 06 FAT BOY and did the 1000 mile service at harley dealer, not to cheap either compared to having car serviced, but I to would like to change my oil to the 20w-50w MOBIL synthectic for V-Twin's, but not sure about other fluid's, I do not have a center stand and book say's must be level, any way 2000 mile's on bike so if only changed oil than later take to dealer and let them do the other two, I know sound's hokey but do not have room for center jack or have wife set on bike to keep level, that would last 3 minute's top's! and then she would bolt on me, the phone or T.V show must watch, so it would not hurt to just change oil early and use what kind I prefer than let shop do other's at 3 or 4 thousand mile's. YES, NO, MAYBE? PURPLE HAZE.
