Default Newbee from Rhode Island

Hiya all, I'm brand new here and just wanted to say hey.

Also, can someone point me to a thread that discusses changing the rear brake lever on a FLSTF? I can't find anything in the tech pages.

Thanks,
Ronnie

Welcome from Pa. Check youtube for a how to on the rear brake lever, you will find just about anything you want on there. Good luck.

If you don't have one, get the service manual, that'll help you out.

It's very easy to remove the rear brake lever, you don't even have to disconnect the master cylinder or drain the brakes or anything at all..

1) helps to remove the floorboard, which is 2 bolts on the bottom
2) unbend the "green" pin (buy a new one)
3) pull the yellow pin out
4) unbolt lever (red)
5) pull the thing off.
