The chin spoiler is from Thunderbike too. Same doubts about covering the voltage regulator which I'd prefer to avoid.
I'd love to add a chin spoiler to my BO, in particular the HD one which is small, has the hole for the voltage regulator and gives a clean look to the bike but is not fitting ABS equipped Softails. That's a shame, only hope the MoCo will produce a version for ABS equipped Softails soon.
I don't see why you couldn't trim out a hole in the center of that chin spoiler and then epoxy some perforated steel to the inside of the hole before painting. If you painted the whole thing black it wouldn't even be that noticeable.
