i don't think that's from a vrod, micro. i've looked around, i don't see anyone else with that on there. i'm talking about the lower one that is where the vrod's radiator is.

i didnt zoom in your pic. you just said fairing, and i knew the bike.

thats a chin spoiler. its custom. i think thunderbike sells them though.

I like the looks of that chin spoiler as well, but doesn't that cover the voltage regulator completely? Doesn't that need cooling air?

CBayWolf is that a Memphis Shades fairing you've got on your ride? Looks sweet! Was looking at the Bullet fairing as an option as well.

Mine is the standard HD Sportster, quick release 1/4 fairing- It bolts on with Bungking adaptor brackets.

The chin spoiler is from Thunderbike too. Same doubts about covering the voltage regulator which I'd prefer to avoid.
I'd love to add a chin spoiler to my BO, in particular the HD one which is small, has the hole for the voltage regulator and gives a clean look to the bike but is not fitting ABS equipped Softails. That's a shame, only hope the MoCo will produce a version for ABS equipped Softails soon.

I don't see why you couldn't trim out a hole in the center of that chin spoiler and then epoxy some perforated steel to the inside of the hole before painting. If you painted the whole thing black it wouldn't even be that noticeable.
