I picked up a '14 Slim a few weeks ago, have less than 1000 miles on it, and a couple days ago I noticed the throttle cable is rubbing the back of the fork tin and it has already rubbed the shine off the black paint.
It appears that the cables are just to long and they are run between the front brake line and the tin and I'm sure in no time the paint will be rubbed off completely.

Have any of you other Slim owners run into this?
I had a similar issue when I added risers. The clutch cable was beginning to rub on the left side.
I just went to Lowe's and bought a couple of these:
They're similar to the ones holding the brake line, and they're even insulated.
I just fastened them using the existing shroud bolts.
Otherwise a couple of zip-ties might be enough...
I had the same problem on my 13 when I bought it. Simply unbolt the cable clamps and relocate the rubbing cable to the other side so that it goes up by the handlebars.
