Default O2 sensor question

Working on installing freedom performance amendment pipes on my 14 breakout. Almost done and realize the damn o2 sensor port on the pipes is too big. I need to get the adapters...

Question 1...best place to get them fast

Question 2...any damage from not running 02 sensors at all until they arrive?

Space really is tight on this bike

well...tightened everything up and cranked it up just for kicks...loud...probably due to the exhaust coming out of the o2 sensor ports

anyway...ordered the bung adapters...no riding for the weekend...which sucks, but i'll be damned if I'm undoing all that work at this point. I'll bite the bullet and get some stuff done around the house i guess. Fortunately, the sensor ports are easier to get to than the stock pipes, so i don't think i'll have to remove them in order to install the o2 sensors.

thanks for all the tips on this site...got my wobble extension and painters tape and didn't harm the bike at all.

I wouldn't run them without at least plugs in the o2 sensor ports. I'm sorry I can't help you on where to get adapters fast but running with nothing in the holes just sounds like a bad idea to me. That hole is right where the exhaust is going to try to get out and besides probably sounding like crap I just can't see where it would run that well with the extra holes thrown in the mix. I'd say the best thing to do would be try and be patient and wait for the adapters before you fire it up.

Take one of your sensors to a bolt store. Match it up and get a couple of short bolts of the same thread, lockwasher, and you are good to ride till your bungs come in.
