I am installing new exhaust and was wondering does any kind of sealant go on threads or just screw in.thanks

If you use ANYTHING it should say O2 sensor safe on the can.
that said, even on old salted rusted cars they have always come out EZ !, so on a bike I would not worry about it.

FWIW.....

I have used a little bit of anti-seize, on the threads only, making sure not use too much and/or getting any on the O2 tips.... never had an issue. I also use anti-seize on the extra O2 plugs, if applicable.
