47 and loving the bike. Ive owned dirtbikes, crotch rockets and a bagger, the Breakout is by far the most enjoyable bike Ive ever owned. I go to sleep thinking about riding it the next day LOL.
49 years young and been riding for 20 years - after my test ride I sold my '99 wide glide and '02 Iron horse for my '13 breakout --- most fun and comfortable bike I have had.
Well, I think this is pretty neat. I thought there was a chance this bike would appeal more to and be more suited for the younger guys but the 40-somethings have stepped up their game. My bike gets a lot of looks and I admit its quite a rush. Rode around a classic car cruise-in the other night and a couple guys told me I should line up the Breakout along with them since it had the older drag bike style and was quite an attention-getter. Many talk about some sort of a harley scowl but I'm pretty sure I just ride around around with a big ol grin on my face.

Ditched my 2008 Honda CBR1000RR and now that I have the 2014 breakout, I wonder what I ever liked about my CBR, that rocket ship of fetal position discomfort has been replaced with the coolest layer back power house I could have imagined.
