Default 08 softail screamin eagle baffels

I am wanting to take out the baffels on an 08 flstc that currently has screamin eagle pipes on it.Does anyone have any suggestions as to if, I will need a tunner and or a mapping sensor.I just upgraded from a fxdwg to this and I just do not know much about this yet thanks in advance for any help

Chances are the person you purchased the bike from did a tune already; however, having said that you really should not remove a baffle and not replace it with a different one. This is in part due to the engine needing a bit of back pressure so as to not lose low end torque.

If you are unsure the status of the efi calibration of your ride, then a safe bet is to buy a tuner or some xeid's. The latter will be cheaper and work pretty good for minor upgrades such as air cleaner and pipes.

Thumbs up pipes

I think I will just have V&H Longshots and their tuner installed.I was really unsure if the baffels being out would cause a problem, but I think I would have to agree with you thanks
