Short/Open Pipes vs Back Pressure?
Hey all, I'm getting conflicting info on this subject. Someone in here said they run the Santee
Y-Pipes w/ no problem, a shop parts guy here in town at the local non-dealership wrench shop told they'll burn up my top end since I ride so much. He says if you don't ride a lot or just bar hop, they're fine.
Anyone that puts real miles on their bike or really knows about these issues, your advise would be appreciated.
No disrespect to the one on here that says he has them, I just want to know absolute before burning up my motor and I don't know how you ride. I put between 500 and 1000 a month on mine.
