Exclamation Driving lights and High Bean not working !

Was changing out my stock risers on my Heritage softail ('07), and whilst removing the nacelle from the side with the driving light switch...one plug popped off... No big deal.. Just reconnected it, BUT now the fricken high beam and the driving lights don't work ! Any idea of what that might be ?

Did you have battery disconnected, or main fuse pulled...might've blown fuse?? Best to re-check your work and ensure (1) all connections/plugs are tight and (2) fuses are good...

Doh ! That'll be it for sure...no I didn't have the battery disconnected...(the wire came off by accident), and when I first restarted it... Those connections were still off... So I'll check the fuse now...I'm pretty sure that'll be the prob... Thanks..

Hmmm, ok, so fuse was blown... Was pretty funny..trying it find fuse box location...as the manual says it's "behind" the battery... Well I thought I'd need to remove the battery (wrong). So disconnected it first... Only to realize the "smart alarm. Isn't happy about that..JEEZUZ scared the crap out of me !

Anyway... Seems there was a short somewhere after fitting the handlebars...and risers.. Strangely enough, after fitting another set of bars... The high beam and passing lights are all back working !

Go figure... Maybe the switch blocks were pinching on the wires ?
