Default Vibration. Normal or not?

My new Softail Slim has almost no vibration until you get to about 3200 rpms. 3200 rpms and above there is some vibration that gets a little worse as the rpms increase. Since I am new to the balanced engines I thought I would ask if this is normal. Thanks.

quite normal. you could add weights to the end of your handlebars to try to dampen it a bit if it's too much for you

Yes, some vibes are normal at higher RPMs. The dampers can't overcome everything and slinging those big pistons around at higher RPMs is gonna cause some shaking. They engineered the system to keep the bike smooth at cruising RPMs, so between 2000-3000.

Its not completely balanced, it only balances the primary out of balance forces not the secondary forces, these get worse at high engine RPM.

Thanks for the responses. That is what I figured it would be.
