I relocated my license plate and my brake light to get the nice clean fender look. However, when I took the tail lamp off I was disappointed to see the fender had a built in mount to for the tail lamp. Anyone have any ideas as to how to hide this and make it look better?
This is what I did. Took the fender off, drilled the rivets off, pulled out the inner bracket cut the mounting bump off and hammered a flat pice to match the curve of the fender and welded it to the bracket and riveted it back in. But I was repainting the bike anyway.

I don't know if I can do that cause I'm not trying to repaint the bike. How much would it cost to get a raw fender painted to match the bike?
poors mans version. Made a bracket for the license plate and mounted the plate right over the hole. Found a brake led with leds that also point up to light the license plate to keep it legal.
Black is very easy to match...the bike in my sig has a front fender I painted, tanks off ebay, and a rear fender that a bodyshop painted, and you would never notice...I paid $150 to have the fender shot.
