Default Fatboy handle grip installation easy?

Im thinking about installing new grips on my 2012 Fatboy Lo. Is this a fairly simple procedure or will I need expert help?

Youtube video by J&P Cycles on a grip swap. Done it a few times... one of the easier things you'd do to your bike.

Piece of cake, just follow the instructions closely, especially on inserting the piece of cardboard in the brake lever. A simple job becomes a major PITA if the brake switch gets busted.

Changing grips is one of the easiest mods you can do. Ragnar provided an excellent video.

Heed the remarks at minutes 1:01 - 1:07 of the video. Don't lose the small brass ferrules! They hold the cables to the throttle grip.

Super easy. I had my grips changed out in about 30 minutes when I did my swap.

I didn't even have to cut my left grip off and I used no glue on it when I put the new one's on. Once the controls were tightened up the grip held securly.

Super easy.

I've never understood why people cut their left grip to remove it. All you have to do is loosen the switch housing that doubles as a clamp for the grip and then grab the grip and twist it back and fourth a few times. The glue breaks free pretty easy and then you just pull it out.

Also in regards to glue on the left grip; I've changed my grips three times and have NEVER had to use glue on the left grip to hold it in place. The Harley grips have a rubber flange that the switch housing clamps down over and holds it perfectly secure with no play what so ever.

I switched to Biltwell grips and didn't even use glue.

Also, I just used an entirely new throttle sleeve for the throttle grip. If the grip doesn't already have one, that's what I recommend instead of trying to cut and pry the old one apart.
