If they are harley grips they come with excellent directions. Most grips are pretty easy.

There is a good write up in the DIY section. Here is a link, while you are there take a look around many questions can be answered before they are asked.

Just one tip. When then manual says to place a thin spacer of cardboard between the front brake lever and it's housing DO IT!!!! There is a small switch in the housing that can possibly be damaged otherwise. That switch is a right pain in the **** to replace. Voice of experience here!

Grips and switch housings not bad. Just read directions and follow to the letter. As others have replied watch out for front brake switch, put cardboard or small screwdriver in between lever. Also watch out for small piece of brass material in switch box on same side, right. Little piece of metal is a real go look for when dropped in grass. Suggest putting sheet under bike while working on in. Good luck with wrenching.

Grips are easy, take your time with the throttle cables.

Just my .02, but Kuryakyn ISO's with the throttle boss are hard to beat.

solo,
do you ever have any problems with the ISO's loosing some grip when it is raining fairly hard? mine had some on when I got the bike and I don't know if someone used ky jelly on those things or what, but even with gloves when it was raining it was a b!tch. I changed mine out to some fat cushion grips.

On a scale of 1 to 10 it's a 3 but like every one else said, take your time and go by the instructions and do not drop the brass pieces on the throttle cables..
