Any body running the Vance and Hines true duels and if so any problems with the install and how do they sound . also have they been around long or are they kind of new for Vance and Hines
I don't have them but I do know V&H just released the 06 and 07 versions of them. They are a new product but the difference with them and the Samsons is that the V&H Baffles are removable.
I've heard both. There is a world of difference in sound. Samson's sound is way much nicer (deep and clear). I would not put a Vance and Hines system again on my ride, too high pitch.
i got V&H on mine..............and they sound pretty good to me......but i haven't heard the samsons, but i don't know how you could get much deeper.....i'll have to keep an ear out for them (the sampsons).......i run mine with the baffles out, and a bolt welded inside to create a little backpressure.......i got noticably increased performance

I have a set of V&H BigShots with like 400Kms on 'em. I liked the way the looked in mybike but not the way the sounded. I recently saw a Softail De Luxewith dual Samson's LOUD clear and deep sound... very. I've heard the V&H duals... not the same by far.
I have Thunder Headers on my ride now, could not be more happy.
