Default Spring seat question

Thinking of switching out the stock seat on my slim for a spring seat. Anyone who did this could you comment on the comfort between the two?

Thanks

I can tell you the spring seats are more comfortable than a stock style seat imo....

It's "virtually" like having two suspensions.

This is based off the padded crosbones spring seat and the 1925 spring seat.....

Comfortable to sit on, yes. The tractor style I have has no back support though.

Spring seats are very comfortable...but, like said, no backrest. When I'm going all day on the spring seat I strap something to my sissy bar that doubles as a backrest.

Here's a pic of me loaded up for an 8 day ride.

I put the H-D one on my blackline (same setup as the Slim) in hopes of helping my back issues. I will say its a comfortable set-up, especially over the stock blackline seat. Unfortunately it didn't quite do what I hoped it would for my back issues (that had nothing to do with the seat though). If you do decide to go that route, I have the whole H-D spring seat setup for sale under the "softail classifieds" section.
