Default front wheel question

I have a 91 fatboy. It has the 3/4" axle. I found a 21" wheel for a wide glide (00-06). I know it has a 1" axle. I was going to buy the spacers to make it work. My question is, is the width of the wheels any different? Will i need spacers and will brakes work?

Thanks

There are a whole bunch of issues you need to deal with.. Spacing will be different for sure since the 91 uses timken bearings with a separate seal and the TC wide glide uses a sealed bearing.. Ar you sure the WG uses a 1 inch bearing?? I'm pretty sure the 00 and 01s were still 3/4 inch.. Anyway if it has 3/4 or 1 inch sealed bearings you'll need to come up with different spacers.. I think that the widths will be close, you'll have to bore the center out of the disk rotor or use a non brembo twincam rotor.. I've not done the particular setup but a machinist should have no problem cranking out spacers sleeve the axle to 1 inch and set the disc rotor spacing correct..

Well,
You still have to re-space everthing.. The axle for an 05 is a 43346-83B which means it is 3/4

So I would guess you don't need the spacers that you listed as they are 3/4 to 1 adapters and a 00 to 06 uses a 3/4 inch axle...
