Default Softail is Awesome
I introduced myself the other day but just getting started here. I recently purchased by first Softail, a new 2013 Deluxe, white and midnight pearl. My local dealer insured me I would love the 103 motor and the smoothness of the ride. He was spot on. I came from a 10 yr. old dyna and sportsters/sprints before that. This thing is awesome. Stage 1 with SERT & V&H big shots so far. I will post some pics if I can figure it out. Peace

Congrats! I've been thinkin about another bike too... But I'll probly just stuff a bigger motor in my 05

Deluxe is a cool bike once you do work to it.
Apes, fat spoke 23" up front. slammed. Trash all stock signals and controls, you get the point.

I love mine but I don't know about the smoothness part. At 60mph and above 75mph, it's like a cement mixer. And 2 shops say it's nothing. At least it's in warranty.
