I have an 07 street bob and I would like to possibly put some night train bra on my bike. I have seen a fee pics of this setup and it looks great, I know I would have to change my cables and that's no big deal, I have looked on eBay for the bats and came up with nothing, if I could find some I would love to give it a shot. Do the night train bars connect directly to the triple trees or are they in risers? Any help would be greatly appreciated, especially if you have a set to sell. I enjoy the apes but want to try something new
Zuggs: They're just drag bars. Check ebay, the classifieds or go to the night train pic thread and see if anyone there wants to sell theirs along with the risers.
hey i have a set that came on my night train. Dont think they are the stock bars but i believe this is kinda what you are looking for. They are 1 1/4 and black. Id take 50 shipped if your interested
I put a set of Night Train bars/risers on my Standard and I love em. I find that riding position much more comfortable than the stock bars that were on my Standard and they definitely look 100x better.
I've ridden apes, beach, tracker and drag bars - my opinion: drags with the correct height risers for you work best on long rides.
I sold my stock NT drag bar for cheap on eBay; $30 I think. Biltwell sells a "Zero Drag" that I use now - it's not more than $65 brand new I think. Stock NT risers are 6" - I could be talked out of mine I think - if you're interested PM me an offer. I've been thinking of getting 8" 's.
Here's what a slightly narrowed ZeroDrag and stock risers will look like:
With stock hand controls you really can't get much more narrow than about 24" before the brake M/C hits the riser. Although, there is no point in going much narrower than your foot pegs if you're doing it to white line. Squeezing a Softail between a space smaller than 2.5' at 20-30mph isn't advised... ask me how I know...
