Does anyone know if the width of Heritage/Fat Boy triple trees are the same as Softail Deluxe? I've got an older model front Heritage/Fat Boy front end and installed a nacelle around my headlight and have spotlamps to install as well. The stock lamp bar has a 90 degree angle and that rolls over where the flat tin is on the stock Fat Boy tin. I believe the Deluxe appears to mount to the side but does not have the 90 degree angle that goes over the tin. Thanks in advance.

No. Mine is a '92...I've installed a headlight nacelle and the factory spotlamp bar wraps around too far and makes contact with the nacelle. The Deluxe seems to mount on the side of the triple trees and does not have the bend around to the front side of the tin. I'm not certain if the triple trees are wider/narrower on the Deluxe over the older Heritage/Fat Boy trees.
