No Touring bike here, this Softail is here to stay. I would love to have multiple bikes like some guys have here but even then I'm just not a Touring kind of guy. I found my old shovel head and would love to have that back, the guy wont talk to me. I can't deny I like the Street Glides. I seen a Black chromed out one with a Stag 2 on it and a nice 2 into 1 on it. It looked sweet, sounded great but I have never ridden one either. Lest I hit the lottery I need not worry of multiple bikes in my garage though. I'm blessed and content with what I have.
Congrats! I retired 01/01/14, it's real easy to stay busy. Looking back, I don't see how I ever had time to work. Definitely riding more now.
. . . and I might say, you have excellent taste in bikes. Life is good!
Six years ago still a couple years away from 62 though. Everyday is Saturday. I find I stay IN on weekends and do most of my riding during the week when the tourists and most people are working. Keeping busy is not an issue. I took a Pt time job a few years ago to fill in some time but left last August. I do miss being around people now and then. But the HD Dealership hang and Corvette Club keeps me in the game a bit.
Don't think I will be joining a bowling team or take up golf soon.
