I am thinking about building a vintage bike and was wondering if anyone here has been down this road. I am thinking about starting on ebay with a frame. Any suggestions will help

I think I would start with a whole bike. Matching numbers for frame engine and trans. Then go from there.

Agreed. MUCH MUCH easier, and you'll save money in the long run. I went down the road, built up a Panhead engine & tranny piece by piece. It's been a long and expensive road, but I wanted original and didn't have the initial cash to do it in one buy. LEARN FROM THIS!
