My buddies got a night train, and he just painted it himself...used Clearcoat mixed with a shade of gray and just painted it at work. You may be able to hit up a local bodyshop and discuss with them a shading technique to get a smoked look.

You can get paint to turn signals black...
It's called Night Shades:
This transparent black taillight lens paint makes the lenses appear black until brake is lit, bringing out the natural red. Also works on turn signals. Sold each.

Your light looks bitchen. I have the same bike and rack did you make the adapter for your rack to work .
