Charging system

How do you figure out if you need a stator or voltage regulator, just installed new battery and voltage goes down when bike is running. 1998 Softail Custom, Not charging battery???

Hey Rod,

Go over to the Evo section abd there is a sticky on the top of the forum page by Dr. Hess. Read it and learn and then ask questions. Do a proper intro too.
