2014 breakout alignment/frame issues
Just saw the other question. It definitely sits to the right in the *** end forcing my front end to correct to the right like it was dog legging a bit. I also measured the rear end from strut to axle and it's a difference of a quarter inch but that could just be the struts off so I can't rely on the that
Stalking your life? You are posting about the same issue, without much response, in two very public places. I respond to you in both of them and I am stalking you? LOL. Good luck with your crooked bike.
I decoded the vin and found the my bike was produced in York, PA (B for the 11th digit)
The problem with mine was a mis-aligned rear wheel from the dealer. Look at the belt - it should ride in the middle of the rear sprocket, not against the side. Mine was riding against the left side on both the rear and transmission sprockets - a sure sign it was not aligned correctly. I adjusted my rear axle forward on the right side, and it tracks much better now - still not perfect, but better. Before, it felt like the bike was leaning to the right all the time. I need to adjust it a bit more.

I'm new here. And though I ain't no geek... I know how to behave on public forums.
And much like REAL life, here is where we reach out for help.
Be kind, or STFU. There!
Thanks to this thread, I went and looked at my final drive and noticed it's off. ****!!!
I so much want to ride hands free LOL.
Carry on~

So how can you tell when you are riding? Take your hands off the bars and see if it tracks straight? Tire wear?

How did you measure the vertical wheel alignment?
Have you checked horizontal wheel alignment?
That's not a pretty and artistic weld, but it may be perfectly adequate for what it needs to do. One can also have a pretty weld which will fail from poor penetration.
My Rocker (not far from being the same bike) always leans to the right while going straight. Probably doesn't help that I have small and light aftermarket pipes though. Need to lean a bit to the right to ride hands-off. Haven't thought of any of this as a big deal.
Its in the shop they picked it up next day after I went in to take pics of showroom. Sorry about the stalker comment but Beisdes the post you commented on I have found a hand full of people with alignment issues not a lot of them but they have the same weld. I felt like you were calling me a liar and didn't appreciate it. It doesn't seem to lean either way which is odd and travels right not left when I come to a stop. I also notice it is easier to throw it into right hand turns which is weird cause the weight is more to the left. I'm just trying to get to the bottom of it so I can A) warranty the frame out if it's bad B) just have them resolve it so my forks look like they are traveling in the same direction as the rest of it. We all work very hard for our money and deserve the same quality out of every breakout made not just some. The tranny issue would be nice not to feel like it coming apart in 6th gear as well We pay good money for Harleys and deserve to have the quality we are charged for. A few guys have adjusted the bike in different ways but never get it 100% so I'm trying to find out if it's just the crap weld bikes or every breakout.
