Been a while since I was a regular poster here. Last bike was a 2008 Night Train.
This past Sunday, I picked up a new 2014 Breakout in Whiskey Orange. Love the bike, just have to get rid of those peg feelers. They scrape as soon as you even think about leaning the bike.
So I have a question. I know you should probably never buy accessories from the stealer, but I needed a helmet to ride home with. I purchased a Carbon Fiber half helmet for $140.00. Now, I can't find it anywhere on the Internet for pricing. So it is either old stock or extremely new. I don't think it is extremely new as it says "Manufactured in Dec 2012".
It is a Fulmer AF90. Is that a good price or did I get burnt? I really wanted that extremely low profile Carbon Fiber one I used to see, but don't remember the name. Anyway, anyone know where to purchase another one of these Fulmer's online?
Here is a pic of the new Breakout. I absolutely love it!
Congrats. I just picked up a new Breakout this past Thursday and love it. A new helmet for free was thrown in as part of my deal. I got to choose between a Skid lid and a full face. I went with the full face because I already have a skid lid which I never wear because they look horrible.
Thanks guys, I appreciate it. You guys must have much different Harley dealers than I do, lol. Throw something in? INCONCEIVABLE!
All joking aside, I love the bike. I have really missed my Night Train and the Breakout is much better in my opinion.
The helmet is nice and it doesn't surprise me they marked it up like that. However, I still want to find that other carbon fiber that used to be advertised a lot. It didn't have much padding inside of it. The one I have is probably better protection, but still gives you mushroom head.
