Default GPS

Not sure if anything has been posted on this forum, I checked back in the history and didn't really find anything, but I was wondering if anyone had a GPS on their bike and if so what kind do they have (make adn model) and what their thoughts about it were.

Let us know.

Thanks.

I'm about to buy a Garmin Zumo 550. If your looking at other models make sure it has bluetooth so that you can have your earpiece on without a wire.

Garmin is a good stable company that will be around and make really good units. I have a Nuvo for the truck and I have a handheld for the woods.

I have been using this one ( http://www.garmin.com/products/spi5/), originally on my Fatboy and now on my Street Glide. It is not a fancy as some but it does the job, fits in my pocket when it needs to and I use it in all of my other vehicles.

Garmin is well liked. I have a friend who lives in the UKwho bought a Tom Tom. His only complaint is that they updated the maps too soon. He went to turn onto an expressway in France and found that they hadn't even started building it yet.
If possible, get one with a monochrome display. The color ones tend to wash out in direct sunlight.

What is everyone using to mount their GPS to their bikes? I have fears my Garmin Nuvi will fall off using their handlebar mount. has anyone found anything that is better then others as far as a mounting bracket?
