Finally found the solution!!!! First to clarify..this is a friends bike and is a 2002 not a 2008 as I previously posted. This bike came from California and prior to delivery had a vapor canister installed to meet California emissions-_not factory equipment. Must have been plugged up cause once it was removed the bike ran like new!!! Thanks to all who responded to this thread.
