I don't like any spoked wheel that has an even amount of spokes.

When buying wheels remember, you get exactly what you pay for.
Stay away from cast wheels like HD's cheaper line. Castmay fail under blunt stress. Cast has numerous pits, is very porous and has less strength because of the casting process..
Go with a forged billet. Forging squeezes out all of the imperfections of the billet,and the aluminum becomes much more dense, strongerand flexable under the incredible pressure of forging.

Well guys I placed the order today. I decided to go with the 8 spoke, which is what originally caught my eye. Like some of you I agree that the wider look compliments the Fat Boy a little better. Other's think I'm crazy for even considering changing the wheels, and I respect those opinions too. Thanks for all of you'r input. The parts should arrive in about 2 weeks then it's time for install. I'll get the pics up as soon as everthing is done! I tell you one thing, It's gonna be hard to take er apart with all of this nice weather weve had in East TX lately!!!
