Freakin' sweet bag, but due to the small size and the odd shape, ain't much going in there.
heheh. Ya, I have to get creative to fit my gym clothes, sneakers, plus goggles, and gloves, even in the rectangular bag. Sometimes I even carry tools for small maintainence stuff during my lunch hour, or other misc. stuff that I'll need during the day. I have it down to a science though.

Gotta love auto correct. Hard tail, rigid tail, I can honestly say that I loved my old Triumph 750 which was on a custom hard tail frame. But at the same time I sure don't miss it. Suspension is where it's at for theses old bones.

The shock absorption happens between the swingarm and the frame. I guess you could consider the swingarm to have a bit because it can move and rotate, but anything mounted to the swingarm is going to feel the bumps much more than anything mounted to the frame.

i so very much want to get nerdy on this thread and explain the difference between the harddrive/storage in a laptop vs a tablet/kindle and how the HDD in a laptop, unless SSD, is still magnetic disks with a needle, and that's what will get screwed up by being in a swingarm bag vs a backpack, and that tablets and kindles don't have magnetic HDD's which is why they're safer to put in there...

but i wont

yep. Sgt Jim.. my Ultrabook has a solid state drive, though still not sure I want to put it to the test of the bumps... Think I will go the backpack route... My issue is being vain.. I have an ultra-thin backback which I love.. it's neoprene with a breathable mesh material against your back. The only issue is it's bright green.. so I look like a teenage mutant ninja turtle

I really like that square swing arm bag. Just the job. Are you using a hard mounting kit with it?
