Thanks man. Yeah it pulls like a freight train lol
I'm jealous
I can't wait to build my motor up after the bike is paid off. I had a cammed 1200 sportster that pulled harder off the line than my Breakout does currently haha. I'm happy with the 103 motor and the power is definitely there but dam I want to be in the 130 hp/tq range like yours.

Nice. Yeah Sportster motors can be little monsters. I agree about the 103. I was ok with it but a little depressed about the power.. not sure why harley can't make them with more power. The bike was ok for relaxed cruising but they call it a drag bike so they should put some ***** in it. This is what drove me to this insanity and now I am very happy with the bike inside and out. Riding 2 up is like going solo. I actually did 160 miles to the tank with some spirited expressway driving.

My thoughts exactly! I was looking forward to hitting the 500 mile break-in so that I could see what she had. When I was finally able to twist the throttle and go wide open, I was a little disappointed.
After seeing what you've done, I'm thinking of building mine sooner than later now. HP and TQ is addictive and I've always been a hp junky with my Mustang and drag racing background.
Good chattin with you and ride safe!
Beautiful bike. I was looking to buy a Wide Glide as my secondary bike but you now have me taking a serious look at the Breakout. How's the rear suspension? A little harsh?
If you still have the reflectors, take fishing line and pull it back and forth between the frame and the back of the reflector to cut through the adhesive. Also a little heat will soften the adhesive.

Thanks, The rear suspension is great. Very soft over bumps. Definitely impressed with that. Even lowered 1.5 inches the bike rides nice. Reflectors will be gone Thursday

The Breakout rides great. The rear softail suspension is definitely comfy. It sits low and has a very low center of gravity feel when you ride. The stock rake and 240mm rear tire also handles very well, it's a smooth roll around corners...H-D really nailed it with the design. I would recommend changing the pegs or at least removing the peg grinders though, they will grind pretty easily around corners.
This is a Danny Gray seat I had them make for me. I'll have it Friday. It has a low profile rear and it's 9" wide and squared to match the rear fender. The nose of the seat is shorter than stock but covers the tank bolt. I'll post install pics fri/sat
