Default Windshield lowers

Would the chrome windshield lowers (fangs) on my Heritage cause gas mileage to drop?? Any opinions on this? I guess maybe the best way to find out would be to remove them & see what happens

Without them the wind hits your legs. Either way, their is resistance. cant be much diff. Given the comfort factor, it would be worth the small hit even if their is one. Im running mine full time now with a fairing. They make long rides sooo good and the colder mornings warm. Just like a woman! haha

I got my fangs about 6 months ago and will not take them off ever. Mileage is the same. Put them on and you will not go back.

Yes, a lot of girls use them because they don't understand that there will be wind when riding a motorcycle.

Didn't say anything about a 'real biker' but it just kills me that so many complain about the wind while riding.

No one complained. We all agree how much more comfortable it is. Especially looong rides, 300+ miles and winter rides. Or even like yesterday. I leave the valley in the morning and its 65 degrees. I hit the sierra passes and its 50 degrees minus the wind chill at 75 mph. Its no different then installing taller bars or upgrading shocks for comfort. Whatever works for ya.
