Default cams

There maybe a past post that relates to this but here goes anyway. Is anyone running the 254 se cams in a 96" night train? If so whats the opinion of them? Ive got a friend that had 204's and is now putting 254's in his train it ran real good with the 204's. Ive got an 09 that has the stock cams and there is a good bit of difference between mine and his. Thanks for the input.

the 254E SE cams were made for touring bikes. same bottom end as the 255's but with more pull on the top end.
