Tip on the rocker bump stop...One of the fine folks on here filled me in years ago, if you buy a bump stop for an 07 softail for 7 bucks, it installs in the same holes and is half as thick, so it does not hit as much. The stock rocker one has a big thick piece of honking metal on it. Works nice and is a cheap fix for once...LOL.
Ride safe.
ps My danny gray seat will gel is awesome...

Rodzilla, have you had a chance to check whether there's still adequate clearance between the fender and the passenger seat when going over the most severe bumps with a heavy passenger? Questions about that are the only reason I haven't made that change. I ride with a passenger occasionally, and we have some horrible roads around here. Don't want to bang up that expensive rear fender.

And I think the trade you were asking about sounds fair as far as the money goes. You are right about spending a bunch of money to customize yours. It adds up quick! If that's the rocker you are talking about in the picture, that's a nice bike. Looks like it's already had some money thrown at it.
Still very much on the fence on this one. The bike is nice, would like to find a breakout or possibly a wide glide , I loved my street bob and the wide glide does have a nice look. Thanks guys and I'll keep you updated on what I do.

I never ride two up, so no issue for me...im no light weight though and it is fine. I have the progr. shocks in the rear and lowered 1.5 inches in rear and only a paper width from seat back to fender with no rider. No hitting or scratches on fender...i do have the 3m paint protector film between seat and fender , which came with the seat but is available locally.
Someone else mentioned getting a breakout instead...basicly the same frame as a rocker...just dressed out differently...
Ride safe.

The Breakout is a dandy bike, but doesn't have nearly as much cornering clearance as the stock Rocker, if that matters to you. Scraped the dealer bike on a slow demo ride, with a salesman riding out front to make sure I didn't go very fast.

Love my Wideglide, but it gets nowhere near the gawks and "thumbsups" that the Rocker does. Even many Harley owners think the Rocker is a custom, and have no idea that it's basically a factory bike.

And like Rollinburnout said, if that's a photo of the Rocker you're thinking about, it's already had a good deal of money dropped on accessories.

true about the wideglide, and goes for the street glide as well pretty much a dime a dozen.

The rocker c from looking at pictures I was sent:
stage 1 with vance hines pipes, air filter as shown, tuner,
chrome housing controls, l
ed gas gauge smooth caps on both sides sit flush to tank.
willie g skull grips, foot controls, brake pedal, shifting
danny grave seat

Thats pretty much it, only thing I would probably do is goto stainless steel lines (brake & throttle) , drag bars ?

One of my buddy's WG would get walked right by so they could check out my Rocker. I always get "nice bike" and he gets no mention.

I tried this with my touring strut system and it didn't clear for me. I took about 1/4" off the stock Rocker bump stop and it clears, but I don't dare take any more.
