I replaced my stock mirrors with led signal mirrors. Removed the front blinkers completely. Quite simple install. Cut the wires at the bar mounted bullet signals and spliced in the wires for the mirror. All done.
Only issue which really isn't one is the dash blinker lights flash fast as the LEDs draw less current.
I just installed the Harley led mirrors last night. Had a buddy of mine there to help judge the look of the mirrors flipped upside down or right side up. We both agreed quickly that upside down looked dumb due to the shape of the mirrors. Upside down mirrors in my opinion look fantastic if they are super small and have the right look about them, these looked dumb, not even close to cool.
Just my .02, as for the wires IF you do go upside down, I would heat shrink them and then just pull them down the back side of the handle where the mirrors slide into. There really isn't a better way and people should be looking at the cool mirrors not the wires right?
