Default 2015 Softails
2015 softail brakes have been upgraded. ABS standard with 11.8" rotors, new MC and caliper.

On the Slim the ABS are $795, not standard. Though it does say that the it is equiped with a new front brake system.

Too bad its just not a caliper upgrade. Having to upgrade rotor and MC also, on an older bike, increases the cost. May as well install a 13" rotor and a brembo setup.

Now that I looked at all the Softails I feel like I am getting ripped off since I have to pay for the ABS while all others are standard.

I thought I was too but i do not care about abs anyway. Was not planning on getting them.

I wish that they would have moved up to the brakes like the Touring bikes. That system was a big improvement.

Yes and the price got upgraded also. Heritage is heading to the $20,000.00 + side of no return.

It's cool that Harley has improved the the braking on the softails but both my softail has ABS and works fine. If they want to improve the softails they should give them fly by wife throttle and cruise control but honestly I think the softails are fine the way they are.
