What studs are you talking about? If you're talking about the buttons in your seat and bags you can get them at Harley for about 25 cents a piece..

The catalog calls them decorative spots. They are 20 and 25 cents a piece.

93023-88
93024-88
93025-88

The different numbers are different sizes..

I've added about 100 of them on my Heritage..Dealer had them for $4.95 for 20 in a bag three yrs ago.

I just came across them a couple days ago and now in the HD site on-line they are $1.00 each... BS.. thats 400% higher that 3yrs ago..

I bought my last 100 of them from ""SewWhat"" and they are Brass, I just checked and now theirs are $3.10 per 25

Here's the link...

,,

When buying make sure they are BRASS -Nickel plated.. cause some cheaper ones are make of steel and they will RUST in a few yrs if they get wet....

I don't know what's up with your dealer, but since my catalog is a couple of years old, I checked the HD website and they list them as 20 and 25 cents each. The ones you saw may not have been HD, but I will say I've discovered that all things are not equal between dealers anymore. There are some that have taken to scalping. I've found as much as a $5 difference for oil filters for example. I didn't think HD allowed that on their parts. It pisses me off when I find that...

That'd Pisses "ME OFF TOO".... and its the only reason I'lll reply......

Nope,,-- the price I saw was listed on Heritage Spots at the HD web site and "NOT" my Dealers is....Ohhhh I made a mistake..

their were ----- $1.95 each....

NOW BE PREPARED to be PISSED off... As I was if they raised the price that much at ALL DEALERS.....

Check it out """BELOW""".. CLick on the LINK,,,,

I don't post BS and I'll back it up with Proof...

""NOW""--- What do you say that you see what I was talking about and its the Offical HD site......

I do hope that some dealers maybe,,, and I HOPE so,,,, are still selling the BRASS-NICKLE plated ones for around $5.00 for 20 spots, which is a reasonable price to us...

....

I see what you're saying. Those are chrome and the ones I was looking at are nickel plated brass. Same size and function though. Guess you have to decide which one you want to use..

I didn't say you posted BS,, we were talking about two different parts..

Guess Prices are diff at diff places...

I know I would not pay the $1.95 price @ if that's what My dealer wanted for them.. but as I said,, last time I ordered a 100 of them I'd order online at SewWhat and 3 yrs ago 100 Brass-Nickle plated one was only $7.95...

As always its best to research and find the best price on good quality parts...
