Morning
I bought an 02 fat boy and have been getting use to it as I have always had Asian built bikes. This is my first Harley so my knowledge is minimal but the price was just to good pass up.
How fast you can cruise these Harley's as I was on freeway at 70 and it sounded like it was tacking high and didnt want to push it then a couple blow by me at 80 on a Road King.
Better add its a 02 fat boy injected 88 with a 5 speed 17k miles. Has aftermarket exhaust otherwise to my knowledge bone stock. thanks
I added a tach, just because I did not know how many RPMs I was turning at 70 MPH. I can and have run all day at 70-75 with no problem. I was going to convert to a 6 speed, but now think it would be a waste of money.
I have an 02 Springer, same frame and an FI 88cu. About 80-83mph is all I can stand before the buzzing gets too much and my right foot is vibrating off the floorboard or highway peg.
