While my TriGlide has some work done at the dealer, I rented a 2015 Fat Boy for the weekend. This beauty is Vivid Black, with a nice balance of chrome...that I prefer...and only has 2,000 miles on it. The old school look is what got my attention with the Fat Boy.
I'm hoping that the dealer can't get everything done on my TriGlide before the long weekend, because I'm really loving the Fat Boy. I'm impressed with how smooth it runs and how well balanced it is. It doesn't seem to take much more effort to balance at a stop than my TriGlide. Has plenty of pep, and handles great. Did I mention I really like it?
Oh yeah, and based upon my measurements, it can share 1/2 of the garage with the TriGlide. It would be a great complement to the TriGlide. Long touring rides with the wife on the TriGlide, and cruising around town and down the Pacific Coast Highway on the Fat Boy.
I've already started a list of mods "mine" will need. Definitely need to swap out the anemic stock exhaust. WTF...doesn't even sound like a Harley. Also, gotta do something about the seat for a bit more padding and back support.
Yes the exhaust ruins the bike .I did cams ,exhaust ,intake and dyno tuned .Totally different bike . Before that I thought I made a mistake buying . Now very happy
Well, I can sure tell you that I am really enjoying my new 2015 Fatboy! I am OK with the stock exhaust, at least for now, but who knows what the future will bring? If you buy it, let us know what you do on the exhaust issue.

Happy Holiday Riding to Everyone!!
I LOVE my 2014. Black and Chrome rules!
The exhaust was the first thing to go. I love this bike. I did a stage one, and some light upgrades too. This is the "Goldilocks" bike. Not too big, not too small, just right. Plenty of pep with the stage one.
I'll do a seat upgrade for Christmas. That will top it off for a while... Still plenty left I want to do... Cams, aux lights, ect... It really never ends.
