Rear Guard Lowering
Hey........
My first post (new member).........Hope someone can help me with my 98 Softail Custom.....Had a 250 wide *** kit Installed and purchased a Zodiac
Strutless rear guard to go on the Bike...after a quick check on fit (was told by dealer it would be no big deal fitting)
The guard sits 4 to 5 " above the rear tire....looks like a dirt bike.......What's the best way to get it closer to the rear
tire..?
If I redrill mounting holes this will make the under the seat end of the guard sit-off the frame...?
should I makeup spacers for this gap it will have if I swivel the Guard down towards the Tire..?
Will a lowering Kit do the job or do both (lowering kit and re-drill guard...?)
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.......
