A guy my wife works with is looking at a 2005 Heritage with almost 90000mi. Not sure of any mods or anything. Round about, what's it worth? Also, some nice looking Softtails over here.

That's like asking price of construction per sq ft. Too many variables. Condition, mods, maintenance records etc. Don't pay more than 5-6K if everything is perfect.

Pretty high mileage. I'd offer $5500. That way he won't feel bad if he has to pay a couple grand for any major repairs. JMO

With 90K on it and the fact it is an 05 model I would not give much for it. Harley redesigned the cylinder heads in 05 and had a lot of problems with them. So much so they had to redesign them again in 06.

I paid $9000 for my 2005 FXST in April 2013. I thought it was a good price since it only had 1800 miles on it and was bone stock and in pristine condition. 90k miles is pretty high and the bike has to have some wear and tear on it. I wouldn't pay more than $4000 for sure.

Yeah, they want 8 G's for it. All I can do is tell him that I wouldn't.
