Well it just occurred to me to ask; are you also going to make the rear
fender hinged ? Like/similar to this;

I had initially planned to, still debating on that. I want to check the final fit, as is, and see have long the fender is. I really like the hinged look. Obviously, I'd have to cut and hinge the fender as well as fabricating some extra braces. These are the color combos I'm looking at.
Don't think you could go wrong with either color.
I put a similar hinged rear fender on a non-hd bike several years ago. JP had a "damaged" one for less than half off. I pushed the dent out with my hand and sprayed it. No filler necessary.
Whether you have a hinge or not, I think it'll still be way cool with that springer and those colors!
