For Sale: Used set of Martin Bros Shockwaves pipes for FI softails.
These are lightly used and function perfectly but there are some warts.
First, the overall color of the chrome seems to have (at least to me anyway) a slight yellowish tint.
Second, there are a couple of spots - about 2 inches down from the intake end of the front pipe and right next to the heatshield on the rear pipe - that have blued (more like browned) and i could not remove these.
It's hard to see in the pictures.
Third, The heatshield for the rear pipe is missing one retaining spring.
Heatshield does not rattle or move while riding.
Lastly, the tip of the rear pipe has been ground down slightly. This is not visible unless you get down on your knees.
Well, there you have it. She's not perfect but she can be yours for cheap.
The cheapest price I've found for new pipes is $599 with free shipping.
Or you can have these for $279 with free shipping.
