Harley Windshield for Nostalgia (U-shaped bracket)
I have a Harley windshield that fits the Nostalgia (U-shaped bracket). This is a Harley factory shield that I cut down, and did a nice job if I do say so myself. The shield measures 15 1/2 inches from the headlight cut out to the top of the shield.
The shield is in good shape but is not perfect. No deep scratches and has a couple about 1" long near the top. These are very light scratches that you can barely feel. There is some residue from the factory tape on the brackets and one spot that the coating has come of (due to tape residue?) but this will be under the bracket and not seen. Where the shield was cut down and sanded you can see the coating fading. This is common with cut down shields.
The shield looks good and most people can hardly see some of the things I pointed out but I want to be 100% honest. I would probably rate this shield at a 6 or 7?
I tried to capture the defects in pictures but it is near impossible to pick this stuff up in a picture. If you need more pictures or have questions feel free to contact me. I will do my best.
I am asking $50 plus shipping for the shield.
